The Arkaba Walk-South Australia
Explore the Flinders Ranges in South Australia on the four day Arkaba Walk. The region provides bountiful evidence of its 600 million year geological history, from the rich red glow of Wilpena Pound to the outback scenery of the Elder Range. Hikers regularly see kangaroos, wallaroos and emus along the walk.
In the evening around the campfire, you’ll hear stories of the early pioneers while indulging in a three-course camp dinner accompanied by a selection of fine South Australian wines. You’ll spend two nights camping under the stars in a traditional bushman’s ‘swag’. The final night will be spent in the comfort of Arkaba Homestead, an historic 1850s homestead.
